There’s plenty to see from looming gargoyles, imaginative carvings including the ‘seven deadly sins’ and the medieval great hall complete with minstrel’s gallery. Take a look around our exhibition dedicated to the extraordinary career of Joyce Wethered, the last family member to live at Knightshayes and the “greatest lady golfer of all time”. St Peter's Church

Saint Peter's has been a venue of worship and spiritual exploration for almost a thousand years. The services reflect the needs of the community and an attempt to understand that which is "other". Some people find it easier to come in and sit quietly- we try to keep the church open during daylight hours - others enjoy being with others sharing music, praise, prayer and communion. Whatever suits you, you may find something suitable on the "services and events" page.
