Really comfortable bed, great location, really quiet and great views
Another exceptional stay, this is my third year coming here. Rooms are clean and well stocked, and the breakfast (menu) is outstanding with much choice. We would highly recommend Brambles. The nearest local pub to the b&b is the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) which is outstanding, serving locally sourced, homemade food, a hug on a plate with huge portions and reasonably priced. The pub itself is old with bags of character and very homely, you're made welcome straight away.
We had a lovely stay, the room was clean and cosy and the breakfast (menu) in the morning was lovely as was the hospitality, thank you! Frou Frou (Tiverton) was delicious.

I stayed for a couple of weeks while moving house. Wonderfully comfy bed in a very clean and cosy room, the best sleep I’ve had in years. Well stocked selection of tea, coffee etc in the room and a great ensuite shower. Excellent selection for breakfast (menu) daily, which I could not resist indulging in daily. Alison and David were the perfect hosts. They made me feel very welcomed and helped wherever possible, while at the same time having a feeling of privacy. Highly recommend and would definitely return if visiting the area. A lovely well-kept canal close by for good walks or running. A couple of pubs nearby for meals and refreshment. Also, within easy reach of the north Devon link road and M5 motorway, and a reasonable walk to Tiverton Parkway train station for exploring further afield.
Brilliant communication, very helpful, gorgeous little cottage rooms that were spotless, so cosy and relaxing. Couldn't have been happier!

Great hosts and the perfect stay, everything was considered, very clean and loved the style and atmosphere. I was in a basket weaving course with Sarah Le Breton, highly recommend.
Very friendly couple. Nothing was too much trouble. Gave us helpful recommendations for places to eat. We were also welcomed on arrival. Nice walks around area. The Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) is a great place for a short or long walk. The local pub was friendly and had really good food.

I have been staying at Brambles for business over the last 16 months, on average two nights a week. Working and staying away from home can be tough, but I can honestly say that my time at Brambles has been nothing short of excellent, it is a true home from home experience, I have stayed in each of the 3 rooms and they all meet the same high standard of comfort and facilities, they are spotlessly clean every time and stocked with the all essentials you would expect at a b & b. Both Alison and David are so welcoming and accommodating to ensure your stay is as perfect as possible, there is always a parking space even when fully booked and the garden is a beautiful welcome when you arrive. I would highly recommend a stay a Brambles.
Our host Alison was most welcoming, and her b&b provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our room was well appointed and there was a full range of refreshments and toiletries. She really has thought of everything you might want or need. Breakfast (menu) was delicious served in a lovely dining room overlooking the beautiful Devon countryside. We look forward to visiting again and have no hesitation in recommending it to travellers. It's a beautiful part of the world and Brambles offers a great location to visit countryside and coast.
The directions given by the host were really good even though it's in deep Devon. The cottage we used was lovely, and well provided for. Autumn months going into winter I needed good heating, this has it and it's fully controlled by tenant. The bathroom was more than adequate. A charming host, who even telephoned to say we'd left something behind (which we collected later). Thanks Alison. As a past resident of Devon for 28 years, I know you'll find the beautiful county a real treat. Enjoy.

Warm and friendly. So helpful. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast (menu)! View is BEAUTIFUL. Peaceful!. The Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) down the road had great food!
We stayed 2 nights travelling to and from Cornwall. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast (menu) was 5*, so much choice and cooked to order. We have already booked for next year. Thank you, Alison and David, for a lovely stay.
Thank you for two comfortable well equipped rooms with character - and a good breakfast (menu). The location is ideal if travelling to Exeter. The accommodation is good value for money.

Friendly, very welcoming. We have stayed here several times and will continue to do so. Trip to local pub is down a country lane, unlit with no pavements.
Alison & David couldn’t be more welcoming. No fuss booking/payment for the accommodation. Beautiful & well-appointed rooms and fantastic breakfast (menu). Would be devastated if we had to find alternative accommodation on our trips down south due to Brambles being fully booked. Tiverton Museum and the National Trust property at Knightshayes (Bolham, Tiverton) is well worth a visit. We have always been happy with the food at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) which is a nice walk away on a summer’s evening or a short drive if dark or raining.

Good communication from Alison in the days leading up to our stay and a lovely welcome when we arrived. They were very happy to provide vegan options for breakfast (menu). Garden room was delightful, cosy and comfortable. Would heartily recommend.
