The owners have thought of everything with a beautifully furnished room with a lovely view. Warm as toast room although you can control it to your likes. Kettle was on when we arrived, room well supplied with everything you could need for a night or two away. Easy parking. Local pub about a mile away serve great food at reasonable prices. Very precise instructions on how to find Brambles, Excellent Stay. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gem of a bed and breakfast. The owners were welcoming, chatty, helpful and brought us a jug of fresh milk on arrival. The room was delightful with a lovely warm duvet, as the weather had grown cold. The bed was very comfortable. There was everything we needed in the room with little snacks. The room had a lovely view over the surrounding landscape. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for a day out. The directions given were excellent in the. We loved it and would highly recommend this place. Highly recommend. Stayed here for 6 nights on a business trip. Arrived to a warm welcome and shown my room which was in a beautiful well kept garden detached from the main house. Room was clean and well furnished. Bed was comfortable.

Bathroom was clean and spacious with bath and shower and plenty of hot water. Also well stocked and replaced every day with shampoos etc as were the tea/coffee biscuits. The owners are very friendly and serve a lovely breakfast in the main house. A very varied selection is available to suit most hungry guests. If your are just passing though, visiting the area or on business this really is a hidden gem which I highly recommend. All this and very good value for money!! Thank you both for a lovely stay!!! Definitely stay here next year!!! What a find! Well, this little B&B is located just off the main road that runs towards South Devon. The rooms and parking are great with the owners genuinely trying to please and accommodate all of their clientele. The views are fabulous and it’s only a short walk to a local pub that serves good food. Reasonably priced too! Absolute hidden gem. Found this place by accident online and couldn’t believe the reviews, we booked and when we arrived we were blown away. The road is a bit disturbing if you’re not used to narrow roads but coming from Yorkshire it was noting new or frightening.

The views were beautiful, the owners were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were amazing (we had the best room the garden room with 2 large windows one overlooking the garden and one overlooking the surrounding countryside) breakfast was top notch and we never went away hungry or wanting, a large selection of hot drinks are available in the room with a kettle and to be honest we hope to be back more in future. Could not recommend this place enough. Thoroughly recommend. We wanted to go on the Horse Drawn Barge trip at Tiverton so researched some B&Bs around the area. One that stood out because of their brilliant reviews was Brambles Bed & Breakfast. We managed to get a booking (it's very popular) and off we went. We had an amazing day and left for Brambles. Upon our arrival we were met by Alison who very kindly showed us to our garden room. We were pleasantly surprised as our thoughtful hosts had put a fan in our room as it had been an extremely hot day that promised to carry on through the night. The room was cottagey which I loved. There were the odd over and above bits which we really appreciated e.g. lots of choice for hot drinks and packet of nuts and biscuits.

The bathroom was clean and fresh with ample fluffy towels. We'd ordered breakfast and were presented with coffee, orange juice, a choice of cereal and fruit and yoghurt if you wished. Bacon and egg etc followed. Alison makes the most divine scrambled eggs. Toast with marmalade /jam followed. The breakfast room was quite social as we and the three other couples discussed various topics. Brambles has a beautiful garden and a gorgeous view with the odd bunny and deer popping in to visit. There is a parking area around the back of the house with ample parking. David and Alison have also put a GREEN light on the side of the house to make it distinguishable. All in all a lovely little retreat that we can thoroughly recommend. Amazing B&B. Just wanted an overnight stay to break the journey to Cornwall. We can highly recommend Brambles. From the time I made the phone call to the time we left the friendly Alison & David made us welcome. The clear directions Alison emailed me were a real bonus and we found our way without any difficulty. The comfortable clean accommodation had everything we could possibly need. Attention to detail was far better than some well known hotels we've stayed in.

Topped with a delicious cooked breakfast which set us right for our onward journey. Brambles is also ideal to use as a base for sightseeing. We would have loved to stay another night but had a car show to go to in Cornwall. We certainly would love to stay there again and can highly recommended it. Thank you Alison & David. Overnight stay. Really welcoming couple who run this B & B. Room had all amenities you would expect of a good B & B and very nicely presented. Breakfast was excellent and served with a smile and good talking but not intrusive. Lovely gardens which would be nice if you had time to sit in, with lovely views. Take notice of the instructions to get there unless you really like driving on blind narrow Devon roads. I would definitely stay again if in the area.
