We were greeted with such warmth and friendliness. Our bed was very comfortable. The snacks in the room a treat. The location is quiet and peaceful. We will definitely come again. Country walks in the area easily accessible. Views from the walk so soul nourishing this place is a hidden gem.
This is a real gem. My second stay and I will be back. So clean, comfortable and welcoming. The owner takes such care to provide lots of little extras that I love. Hot chocolate, Ovaltine plus good coffee / tea. Couple of snacks too! Thanks.
Because of the pandemic breakfast (menu) was not available and we only saw the owner on arrival, which makes it difficult to provide an accurate assessment. However, the accommodation was very comfortable, and the facilities were completely adequate. Parking appeared to be plentiful. Do follow the directions provided. We did not explore the local villages but did enjoy walking nearby.

Brambles is a great place to stay, I have stopped here multiple times and every time it is very enjoyable. Always such a warm welcome, and lovely clean, cosy rooms. I definitely recommend this lovely bnb.

What a gem! Fabulously clean, fresh and comfy. Best night sleep I’ve had in a very long time. Appreciated the snacks. Is a 3 because the road was closed so not your fault. I will definitely stay again. Really handy just off the M5 motorway. Very good location, great breakfast (menu) 10/10.
Fantastic location for what we needed as only up the road from our friend. Beautiful location and accommodation. Very friendly and welcoming. Rooms stocked with pretty much everything. I only scored 4 as it didn’t have a hairdryer. Not a huge deal and I was silly to not just take mine but just something to note. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Book early. This place is popular! Owner response: Thank you for your review. There is a hairdryer in every room. I usually mention it on check-in so sorry if I omitted to point it out this time.
Very clean loverly owners all first class. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), canal horse drawn barge trip.

Very friendly and an excellent b&b experience. Will definitely be revisiting in the future. Excellent base to go both north & west for some lovely villages and seaside. Also good for going south & east for more villages and seaside. Mustn't miss Tarr Steps about 15 miles north toward Minehead and a trip on the horse drawn barge on the canal.
Beautiful b & b room was great, breakfast (menu) was lovely and Alison was very welcoming - 10 out of 10! Pub less than a mile down the road so no need to drive.

Warm and welcoming b&b. Breakfast is spot on. Peaceful location, not easy to find on your first visit but well worth it when you do. Lots of National Trust properties to see. Recommend the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) for your evening meal.

Brambles is a uniquely welcoming b & b with the personal touch much in evidence. The rooms are lovely and the provision of coffee / tea / other drinks / biscuits / bathroom preparations is exceptionally generous. The breakfasts (menu) are equally generous. The location is quiet, though convenient for the M5 motorway, with beautiful views and there is a glorious garden to enjoy. Alison & David are wonderful hosts. I cannot recommend ‘Brambles’ more highly. There are two pubs within a short drive and the town of Tiverton nearby. The b&b is on the door step of Exmoor, and the North Devon link road provides easy access to Barnstaple and the north Devon coast.
Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful location.
On arrival Alison came out to greet us, was very friendly and explained to us where everything in our rooms was and what was happening re covid. Our accommodation was were very comfy and had everything that we could need. Outlook from our rooms was over the beautifully maintained garden and countryside, very peaceful. I was staying there with other members of my family as we were in the area for a wedding. There is a good pub about 3/4 mile from the house serving good food. Just be aware that the lanes around the area are narrow.
We only stayed one night, but we found the Brambles an ideal place to stay on our homeward journey from Cornwall. The pub in the village down the road served wonderful meals.
Excellent facilities and very comfortable bed and garden view in a quiet location. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) is a short walk away for good ales and pub food. Great walks along the Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) and around the local very quiet roads.

Great place to stay. Clean, inviting. Had everything we needed. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast (menu) was lovely. Great choices. Grounds were lovely, colourful and overlooking fields. Room had good internet. Tv, kettle. Would stay again. There is a local pub. We went to several National Trust sites and the Eden Project while stopping at Brambles.
Very friendly and helpful. Glad to share knowledge about local things to do. Everything provided that you could think of i.e. Wine glasses, snacks nothing too much trouble. Thank you. Travelled up to north coast which is about an hour away so not too far, visited Dunster Castle and Dunster village well worth a visit. The gardens of the castle were beautiful. Also visited Lynmouth and Lynton again well worth visiting.
Very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to drop our bikes off early and safe storage. Very quiet location with a 15 minute walk to the local pub. Breakfast (menu) was lovely and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you. Local pub is friendly with good food. Easy access to the canal cycle path to ride into Tiverton.
Although challenging to navigate a tranquil place to stay with a glorious view of the valley beyond. A friendly local pub within a mile serves excellent food.

Alison and David were really friendly and welcoming!. The accommodation in the annexe was cosy, very clean and tidy, and I was very impressed with the range of drinks, snacks and nibbles provided in the 'hospitality basket'! Absolutely gorgeous view and gardens in such a lovely and peaceful location. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) down the road had a very warm and welcoming landlady and delicious food.
