Calverleigh, near Tiverton in Devon, was an ancient parish known for the Calwoodleigh family who held the manor for centuries, later passing to the Nagle family, who rebuilt Calverleigh Court in the 1840s. The small parish, noted for its medieval church (St. Mary's) with a 14th-century tower, merged into Loxbeare parish in 1885, but its historical significance lies in its long-standing manorial history and architecture, including parts of its church and the impressive Nagle-built manor house.
