Brambles is the perfect guest house to explore Bampton, Cullompton, Exeter, Honiton, South Molton, Taunton, Tiverton and Wellington. Fabulous room with comfortable bed, bathroom which was spotlessly clean. Alison has put every effort into making our stay a home from home with lovely touches like snacks and refreshments and even a torch for walking to and from the local pub at night. Breakfast (menu) is superb, very filling and plentiful. Alison is the perfect host, warm, friendly and happy to talk. Would definitely stay again and pass on the details of this gem. Although in the countryside Brambles is still close to all the major roads (M5, A361 and A38) so you can reach many of the areas towns and villages (locations) in less than 30 minutes. There is a friendly local pub that serves very good beer and food and is only a 15 minute walk. We stayed for one night to go to a local celebration party. Our host Alison was friendly and helpful in every way. The accommodation was exceptionally clean with all the facilities we needed. There was parking and we had a delicious breakfast.
My and my son stayed there for 5 nights. The place was great and we enjoyed our stay. The hosts made us feel very welcome and were very helpful with any request or information we required. We would definitely recommend the place again and if we get the opportunity will be returning. Thanks, guys, for making our stay very enjoyable and great work with the garden.
Our hosts were very welcoming. Our accommodation was very comfortable and warm. It was very thoughtfully stocked with variety of tea and coffee and some snacks. It was lovely to be offered real milk too. Shower was lovely and very powerful. Breakfast (menu) was varied and full English on offer cooked to order. Weather was not good but even so was a lovely rural spot to enjoy. Also, the host sent very clear and detailed directions to find the place.
We only stayed one night en-route, but the location is good to access the beautiful area around it. We had a very nice meal at a pub than a mile away.
Alison & Dave have always made me feel so welcome. I have been back to stay at Brambles many times and hopefully will many times in the future. Superb accommodation and beautiful location. Couldn't recommend it highly enough, and huge thanks for looking after me during my recent Easter stay!. Check out the Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) and the Tiverton Canal Company horse drawn barge trips.
Great shower. Loved the extras in the hospitality tray. So quiet. Local pub is worth a visit, easy walking distance.
Friendly, helpful, great breakfast (menu), beautiful garden. The Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) good food and service. Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton), National Trust property worth a visit.
This was the perfect location for us, offering the opportunity to view properties in both Devon and Cornwall were very good, breakfast (menu) was outstanding and the owners extremely nice.
Alison and David were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was well appointed, with a great number of extras. There was a large choice of items available for breakfast (menu). The local pub, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) is an excellent place to eat. Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton) is quite close and visit is recommended (National Trust).

Absolutely perfect. Everything was done, and thought of, to make our stay supremely comfortable. Alison made doubly sure we knew the route to the b & b along the lanes. Countryside stunning. Breakfast (menu) was perfect too and we couldn’t think of a single item anyone could wish for that wasn’t there on the table! Thank you. We were there to meet up with old friends so didn’t do much exploring, but we did (on Alison’s recommendation) visit Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton). House was pure Gothic charm and set in fabulous surroundings. Only had time for a quick visit but will definitely visit again.
An absolutely lovely place to stay, so clean and comfortable and one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had for ages. We felt really well looked after by the host and loved the room. Thank you so much, we’d like to come back again soon! We ate at Pho Nam (Tiverton), it was delicious!
We were in Devon for a family funeral and this was the perfect base. We were met by Alison on arrival. Our accommodation were spotlessly clean, comfortable and contained everything we could possibly need during our stay. Breakfast (menu) was very good with plenty of choice. Alison was a great and informative host.

Greeted on arrival. Gorgeous place to stay, nice and quiet. Very well set out accommodation with everything we needed and some extra treats too. Really good shower. We both had a lovely restful sleep. Breakfast (menu) was brilliant, lots on offer. We felt very well looked after and will definitely book again. We only needed to stop the one night, we had dinner at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) pub nearby, super food and friendly staff plus we didn't need to book.

Our stay at the Brambles Bed & Breakfast was everything we expected and more, our host Alison was very friendly and helpful, and the room and bathroom was very nice, and the views of the open countryside was outstanding. We went to the local pub for a meal on the evening and we found this very quaint an open fire greeted us, and the food was very good. We booked breakfast (menu) at the Brambles and was absolutely delighted my husband had cereals followed by a very tasty full English the eggs cooked to perfection, and I opted for cereals, yogurt and fruit and a croissant, wow so much choose. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area (Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington).
Wonderful host who kept me fully informed with very helpful directions and landmarks. Alison met me on arrival, showed me to the car park and ensured I was comfortably settled. The room we stayed in was spot on. Thoughtful touches throughout and an amazing shower room with loads of hot water and a giant fluffy towel made my stay.

Thought it might be difficult to find on a cold wet dark winters night but directions given and so was no problem excellent help by owners best b&b we have used for years looking forward to going back in the summer. Make sure you follow any directions given by owners.
