A picturesque, calm and quiet spot close to Tiverton. We only stayed overnight but would like to stay for longer to enjoy more of Devon and West Somerset, and the local area (Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington). Very welcoming hosts and super attention to every detail. The most beautiful garden too with splendid views. Many thanks. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) is perfect for homely meals - just a short walk. There is a very well maintained tennis court in the same village with contact details for booking. Walks from Brambles to discover on another visit for certain.
Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was pretty with a lovely outlook onto a delightful garden. Our breakfast (menu) and the chat with our hosts and other guest were wonderful. A great, relaxing stay.
This was our second stay at Brambles. We normally search for b&b's through Booking.com, which is how we originally found Brambles. When we knew we were going to be back in the Tiverton area, we immediately checked for vacancies here, before looking for anything else. So far, we've only met Alison and she goes out of her way to make sure we have everything we need. The breakfast (menu), which is always a major factor for us when travelling, is excellent. The fried eggs are the best I’ve had (I wish I could do mine like that!) And the bacon was beautifully crispy, without being burnt. Obviously, we'll be back again. The only downside on our first visit, which was nothing to do with Brambles, was the state of the public road / lane leading up to it. The council has now filled the axle-breaking potholes! Tiverton is only a 15 minute drive away and is a lot bigger than we realised. Definitely worth a visit if you're after somewhere to eat.

A most enjoyable stay. Always first class service and hospitality. Local walks along the Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) with choice of tearooms and pubs nearby.

Prior to arrival excellent directions to get to the Brambles. On arrival Alison met us with an umbrella and the key to our room. All the facilities were excellent (heating switched on as it was a wet day). The garden was a picture. There was plenty of variety at breakfast (menu), continental and a good British fry up. Would have loved to stay longer. We had our evening meal at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) which is about 3/4 of a mile from Brambles and would have been a pleasant walk if it hadn’t been raining. Tiverton is a small town about 5 miles away. Devon and West Somerset are lovely counties to explore if you have the time.
Definitely, it was perfect for us to experience the farm feel of your lovely B and B, our first one. We really enjoyed our meal at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), think that’s its name, food was very nice and the staff really friendly.
Spotlessly clean room, lots of drink choices in room, good breakfast (menu) selection all served well. Would recommend the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell) as good pub nearby with nice friendly staff and atmosphere. Great chunky chips!

David and Alison were wonderful hosts. The room was lovely and comfortable with all the facilities we expected plus others such as snacks and flannels. Breakfast (menu) was amazing with plenty of options. View from the cottage is wonderful as is the garden. If the opportunity arises, we will visit again.
While we were house hunting in the area (Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington), we chose Brambles b&b. What a beautiful cottage hidden away in the countryside, but only a few minutes from the M5 motorway (Junction 27). The cottage was amazing with many original features, and the garden was already bursting into colour. Both Alison and Dave were really friendly, and their breakfast (menu) kept us filled up for most of the day!! Would definitely stay again. We were only there overnight but lots of seaside resorts close by, and Tiverton town centre was a lovely place for a mooch.
Can't speak too highly of Brambles. Love staying there. Everything that's great about Devon and West Somerset in a b and b. And Allison and David are great, they make you so welcome. You’re in the heart of Devon, wonderful countryside all around. The M5 motorway (Junction 27) is just a five minute drive away. It's in the middle, between Taunton and Exeter (also, Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington). There's a fantastic canal, just five minutes’ drive away, great for cycling, fishing or walking. Also, Tiverton is just a fifteen minute drive away.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. Accommodation very comfortable. The Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) provides a good menu and caters well for dietary requirements.

Alison and Dave are very welcoming, sharing their lovely home and beautiful garden. Tiverton is a short journey away, with plenty of shops, places to eat and walks by the river. Places of interest are Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton), with it's beautiful house and grounds. Tiverton Castle, the Wellington Monument, which can be seen from the M5 and lovely canal walks at Samford Peverell. Further afield is Killerton House (Broadclyst, Exeter) and gardens.

Great host very informative about the Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington area and great cook too what a great breakfast. The local pub. Has a great menu very friendly and the food was great.
Welcoming everything you need very clean and lovely outlook. Plenty listed in info pack. Really is a hidden treasure highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Alison was most professional from start to finish. The location is rurality itself, but the Wi-Fi is excellent & the local hostelry, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), offers above average pub grub. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.
I would definitely recommend this b&b as it exceeded our expectations. The annexe had everything we could wish for, was extremely clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped. The view over the garden was spectacular. We really enjoyed the experience. The breakfast (menu) was excellent and there was a wide variety of choices. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Top marks! We found Tiverton to be an interesting town and olde world. The walk along the Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) was really lovely in both directions.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay the breakfast (menu) is out of this world second time staying here and won't be the last. We went to the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) for evening meal, and I had fish n chips brilliant food must go.

Ultimate answer to great customer service, Alison could show, some of the big companies, what customer service, is all about nothing was too much trouble.
Excellent b&b. Very clean accommodation, everything in the room that you need. Pub 15 mins walk good food & made welcome.
