This b & b is in a lovely spot surrounded by countryside. Unfortunately, we only stayed the one night as we were passing through to travel to Cornwall to see a relation. The accommodation was lovely and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast (menu) was scrumptious, not one for who is dieting. Will definitely book again if coming down to Devonor West Somerset. Unfortunately, we stayed only the one night and had to move on straight after breakfast, but I am sure the area is ideal for walking and especially bird watching in the garden.
Stayed here for a couple nights whilst away for work. This little b&b is the best I have had. From the service, to the room. Both David and Alison go above and beyond. So friendly and so welcoming. The communication before and during the stay was amazing. The accommodation was so clean and always stocked with hot drink sachets and even fresh milk available. Along with other essentials for the stay. The breakfast (menu) was also perfect. Yoghurts, fruit, juice, tea, coffee, selection of freshly cooked breakfast items, and even freshly baked pastries. Not one fault for me here. Thank you.
Lovely, friendly people. Alison very welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area (Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington). Wonderful breakfast (menu) in the morning that she did slightly earlier for us, due to needing to leave promptly for a course in Uffculme. Wonderfully comfortable bed and I slept brilliantly. Definitely a relaxing experience for this very busy woman!. The roads aren’t too bad at all. Yes, it’s in a country lane. But if you follow the directions, you won’t miss it at all. We got there in the pouring rain and found it straight away. My tip would be to not drive too fast down country lanes. We ate at the Waterloo Cross (Cullompton), and my lasagne was very nice. We were here on business, so did not come to see the local attractions, however, there’s a small Spar shop very nearby that we used. My colleague has already booked another stay there for her next course, and I shall be doing the same when I’m required to come down this way for work.
Fantastic bnb. I have never stayed in a bnb before I normally opt for a Premier Inn, but this was fantastic. The annexe was warm and cosy, breakfast (menu) was tasty and well cooked!. The Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton), which is 3/4 of a mile away and 5 minute drive, is a fantastic place to go for something to eat.
We've stayed with Alison and David and would certainly return. Nothing is too much trouble, and both are so friendly. Follow the directions and you'll get there and it's worth it.
My wife myself and my sister in law stayed at Brambles for a weekend, and it was fantastic right from the very first moment we got there to the time we left, the breakfast (menu) is amazing and all the beverages in the rooms was brilliant such a nice touch. Even down to the shower and the beds so comfortable. Thank you both for making our stay fantastic.

The bedroom isn't large, but one of the prettiest we've come across. Everything we'd hoped for and more. Delicious breakfast (menu). Glorious countryside. Follow your hosts' directions and you can't go wrong.
Alison very helpful and welcoming. Cosy warm accommodation. The breakfast room was great for breakfast and meeting fellow wedding guests. The green light outside the house is great idea and thank you for your specific directions of how to find the cottage. Close to Huntsham Court (Huntsham, Tiverton) where we were attending a wedding.
Very welcoming and helpful. Very clean. Vegan and vegetarian, no problem; excellent breakfast (menu). Very comprehensive directions, thank you. We would definitely book again if visiting the area (Cullomton, Tiverton and Cullompton). Let Brambles know when you're arriving, they're very good with the latest travel updates. There are lovely walks along the nearby Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal).
5 Star review......Top place to stay. Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) do very good meals.
Thoroughly recommend! What a beautiful place and host. Lovely warm welcome and spotless cosy rooms with everything one could possibly need. Bed and mattress superb and I would happily have stayed much longer. I will definitely come back. The garden must be stunning in the summer.
Spotlessly clean rooms & host Alison is very knowledgeable about Devon and Somerset (Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington) & helpful. Very comprehensive breakfast (menu) choice to help set you up for the day. We ate the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) about 2 miles away, which had a traditional pub menu which we enjoyed & it won’t break the bank.

Convenient location. Well stocked accommodation loved the little baskets of teas, coffees and snacks. It was great to have towels and a hairdryer too. Comfy bed & loved the bedding. Breakfast (menu) was great. The Golden Panda is a great Chinese restaurant in Tiverton. The local pub the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) is nice but a bit on the expensive side for food.
So friendly and welcoming - little touches make the stay so pleasant and homely. On arrival fresh milk, warm and television was on waiting for my arrival as they knew what time I would be there. The rooms are in an annexe so private from the house. Spotlessly clean with snacks available. Local pub served great food
Felt at home and my accommodation was very peaceful. Just what I needed for relaxing after a couple of very busy days. The owners were very kind and welcoming, and happy to leave me to it knowing they were on hand should I have any queries etc. Excellent leisure centre in Tiverton for an early morning swim.
Friendly and welcoming, arrived to find heating on in room as damp grey afternoon. Very clean and tidy accommodation with en-suite, everything that I needed, coffee and tea making with very large choice and biscuits. I was provided with fresh milk, and kettle had been boiled as they had heard my arrival. Good choice for breakfast (menu). Well, served any comfortable, parts of building very old. This was only a one night stop-over, make sure you follow the directions provided, they are very explicit and very accurate.
I had a friendly welcome, the accommodation I had was very comfortable and had a lovely view. Breakfast (menu) was very good. A definite thumbs up for Brambles.

Friendly and helpful. The rooms are in an annexe, and they are very clean and warm. We had the garden room that looked out over the beautiful garden and surrounding countryside. We had breakfast (menu) and it was lovely with two eggs offered. We would recommend to anyone, and it is very reasonably priced. There are 2 pubs within easy reach to have something to eat. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) which we haven't tried but looks very cosy and it's within walking distance, and the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) which does lovely food and is very friendly and great service.
One of the best b&b we have stayed in. Be careful when driving to and from the property.
