Perfect hosts. So friendly and made you feel welcome. Room lovely with stunning views. Great location for Tiverton Parkway railway station and the M5 motorway (Junction 27, also 26 and 28).
What a lovely welcome from Alison, nothing was too much trouble. And… breakfast (menu), well, everything you could think of for breakfast was there!! And the full English was superb. Thank you to both of you our stay was perfect.
Everything was fantastic, room lovely and so clean, breakfast (menu) amazing and lovely hosts. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) within walking distance was lovely. Also, the Globe Inn (Samford Peverell, Tiverton). Had really nice meals in both

Stayed at the Brambles for 4 nights. Beautiful views across open countryside from the property. Superb full English breakfasts (menu) served with a smile. Well-appointed accommodation with a very comfy bed and lots of little extras. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful, especially with bike storage and tips on places to visit and things to do in Devon and West Somerset. A superb mini break and would definitely recommend to other travellers. Excellent food at a pub in the next village of Uplowman. Cycled the Great Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) and saw a barge being pulled by a horse. Very scenic. Cycled on Exmoor and Dartmoor - both within an hour’s drive. There is so much to do and see within an hour’s drive, you really need a week or more here, e.g. National Trust properties, walks, fishing, golf, cycling on quiet roads, seaside, picturesque towns and villages.
Alison was friendly and helpful throughout, from initial enquiry through to goodbyes. In particular, she could not have been more attentive and reassuring regarding the degree of care required to ensure my breakfast (menu) was not only gluten-free but also free from possibility of cross-contamination (I'm coeliac). It is still so rare to find someone with the understanding and ethic that can allow me to relax and enjoy a meal provided by someone else. Along with the comfortable bed, fresh milk for a proper cuppa in the room, and delightful setting, I would be delighted to recommend Brambles and Alison to anyone. Do leave a little time to just sit and savour the beautiful garden and view, the visiting birds and the sound of passing horse hooves.

Very comfortable overnight stay with very helpful and friendly hosts. The little extras of water, biscuits and savoury snacks was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area (Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington). Breakfast (menu) was generous too. Thank you. We ate at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), walking distance from Brambles, where there was plenty of choice of home cooked food and friendly staff.
What can I say that hasn't already been said. Alison and Dave are the perfect hosts and could not have been more welcoming. We stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast (menu) each morning was delicious and perfect. We stayed in the room that was located in the house which was lovely and a gorgeous look out across the garden and fields. Will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend to others. Had a meal at the local Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), about a 15 min walk down the lane. Lovely food and would recommend. Bring a torch (provided on request) for the journey back up the lane for when it gets dark.
Lovely hosts who made my mother very welcome for her one night stay. Very comfortable accommodation with good facilities and snacks provided as well as a varied supply of teas and coffees. Close to a good village pub.
We had a fantastic 2 nights at the Brambles. David and Alison are impeccable hosts and made us feel very welcome in their wonderful home. Brambles is located in a great small village location with a lovely garden that looks out over the countryside. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. No end of choice at breakfast (menu), all of which were very tasty. My wife and I like to walk and recommend the very pretty walk along the nearby Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) into Tiverton. Countryside distance is 5 1/2 miles but if you miss the short cut its closer to 9 :). There are stops along the way to eat and drink and you can loop back whenever you want to. The local pub, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), is very nice with friendly locals who gave us a lift home after closing. Also visited the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) and the Hickory Inn (Halberton, Tiverton), both of which were a very welcome stop after walking.
David and Alison are exception hosts. They were welcoming and kind. Helping to carry my luggage and daily clean the room. They have a beautiful garden, full of colour and with pots around the bedroom doors. They gave me directions to the nearby Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal), which I recommend as a beautiful and peaceful to walk.
Superb breakfast, very welcoming, beautiful location. Local pub is worth a visit.

Alison and David were very welcoming and our stay at Brambles was lovely. Beautiful and picturesque cottage with amazing views. Very comfortable bed and room. We will certainly return again. We ate at Frou Frou (Tiverton). A short drive away but well worth it. This Bistro is small, so you need to book but the food was excellent and not overly expensive.

Made to feel very welcome! Excellent breakfast (menu)! Follow the directions given by the proprietors. You could get lost otherwise! Nice walk to pub in next village (Uplowman, Tiverton) about 3/4 mile.
The accommodation was perfect, as was the garden with the most spectacular views. Alison and Dave made us extremely welcome and can highly recommend Brambles.
Lovely warm welcome, beautifully equipped rooms, there was nothing more that we could possibly want! Beautiful garden, with glorious views!. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) is very close by & convenient for food etc.
