Alison’s cordial welcome and explanations regarding my stay with them was a good start. Clean accommodation, nicely furnished and comfortable bed.
Nice touches in room, e.g. supplies of water, tea / coffee etc and everything provided. Fantastic views and if you like countryside fab location.
Very high standard of cleaning nothing was too much trouble and friendly good breakfast (menu).
Warm welcome.

Very well run, and the rooms are well stocked with tea, coffee etc. The local pub, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) is handy and does food.
Close to M5 motorway (Junction 27). Easy to get to other places in Devon and West Somerset.

Excellent shower, comfortable bed, nice biscuits, what more could you want?. The room was equipped with everything you might need for an overnight stay. There was no traffic noise and the garden was delightful. Good breakfast (menu) with, importantly, proper coffee.

We enjoyed our short stay very much. Everything was really good and we would come again if we were down that way again. The meal in the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) was delicious.
We were extremely impressed with the attention to detail in our room. We didn't have to hunt for anything! Even a few snacks are provided to go with the comprehensive range of prepare your own hot beverages on hand. We will return!
The hosts were lovely, the accommodation was comfortable and pleasant. Generally, very happy with our stay.
Alison, the host, was so obliging with our dietary requirements and gave excellent directions on how to get there. Coming from either direction involves country lanes, so it was good to get some heads up on that. Knightshayes (Bolham, Tiverton) - National Trust house and Garden is well worth a visit. It's around a 15 minute drive from the Brambles.
Friendly, excellent breakfast (menu). Good parking. Good local pub, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton). Well, situated for M5 motorway (Junction 27) Dartmoor and Exmoor, Exeter, Honiton, Taunton and Barnstaple.

David and Alison made me very welcome, and I had a very comfortable one night stay and a good breakfast (menu) in the morning. The directions provided by my hosts was better than when I followed on my Satnav (use business name and address, not solely the post code). There are two pubs that serve meals close by, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) and the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton). Tiverton town centre is 5 miles away. A lovely peaceful place.

Really great stay and would recommend anyone to stay .... they are helpful and polite really enjoyed and great price. Great for Devon and West Somerset and good price for the Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington area, also Exeter and Taunton.
This was our third stay at the Brambles. We love the double room at the end of the annexe. Although we have only been here at times when breakfast was not available (discounted price) we have appreciated the variety of in-room supplies. The accommodation is comfortable and the Wi-Fi is very useful. This is a lovely location and the views from our preferred room are great looking out across the valley towards the Blackdown Hills and South Devon. The garden is an enjoyable space. The car park is better than adequate for the accommodation available.
Just returned from a six night stay at Brambles. A big thank you to David and Allison for warm greetings on arrival. Accommodation very comfortable with superb views. More provisions than some 5 star hotels. We hope to visit again later this year. Very convenient for all areas of Devon and West Somerset and confidently recommend Brambles. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) is good for meals & close to Brambles. Scenic route to Sidmouth via Cullompton & Honiton is preferable to motorway.
A beautiful location in rural Devon, Chocolate box appearance of the farm house was so appealing on arrival. Accommodation was very comfortable, great bed and pillows and lovely ensuite. Extra touches were a great selection of teas, herbal teas, hot chocolate, coffee and nibbles. Breakfast (menu) was lovely too. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The location is rural, peaceful and pretty. I stayed one night and didn't use local pub, but my colleague tells me it is very good and great value too.
I would have no hesitation in booking again when coming to Devon or West Somerset and recommend this stay every time.
Good breakfast (menu), proper jam jars. Sit in the window table if possible - nice view. Print out the directions offered about the route.

Lovely warm welcome and excellent facilities in the rooms. Very relaxing place for b&b and the pub down the road, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), did a nice evening meal. Take a torch (owners provide one upon request) for the walk home!
Everything was very good and we would highly recommend Brambles.
Alison & David provide perfect b&b facilities. They are efficient, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend them. We now stay at their accommodation each year when travelling from Cheshire to Cornwall to break our journey and include our stay there as part of the holiday. No meals other than breakfast (menu) are served at the b&b but there is a pub, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) within walking distance, or short drive, which serves good pub food.
The lady of the house is very friendly, helpful & told us about places to visit and things to do in Devon and West Somerset. The cottage and accommodation is lovely with the personal touch you don't get from big hotels & the views are beautiful. The accommodation is clean with everything you need. There's a friendly pub, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) within walking distance. The Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) is a few minutes’ drive, fantastic for a walk. We came across a farm shop just off the canal, lovely place to recharge with refreshments all home grown. An unexpected pleasure all round.

Very pleasant stay, accommodation was just what we were looking for, and excellent value for money. Don't be put off by the 'standard' menu published on the web site for the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), the specials board is comprehensive and the food is excellent, an ideal 'partner' for your evening meal when staying at the Brambles.
