The rooms are spotless and the host very friendly and obliging. Can also recommend the pub down the road for dinner.Great quality. We really enjoyed our stay at Brambles. Although getting there was an adventure (we followed our noses, having not looked at directions to get there), we were warmly greeted by the owner and shown to our room. The room provides everything that one needs for an overnight stay and we had a relaxing time. The breakfasts each morning are absolutely brilliant, and we enjoyed chatting with the owner when he had time. The pub down the road (the Redwoods Inn) is definitely to be recommended for good quality food. We would stay here again. Rambles at Brambles. Nice b & b which was very much buried in the countryside. Really away from it all but only a few minutes from junction 27 of the M5. Rural charm just off motorway. Excellent comfortable stay nice and quiet with an all important comfortable bed.. The owner made us feel welcome, well appointed room and the attention to the little things - like hot chocolate in addition to tea and coffee, biscuits, tissues, cotton wool balls were all appreciated. Fantastic breakfast. Look forward to staying again when in that neck of the woods.

Simply excellent. Great place, so glad we found it! We spent 3 nights here and spent our days exploring the amazing nearby sites and towns! Ideally located for this purpose and a lovely local pub just a 10 minute walk away serving great food!! Really impressed overall and will most definitely return! Highly recommended. A narrow lane approach but good, friendly service and very acceptable accommodation. Lovely location with great views. We stayed at Brambles for just one night as we were going to a 30th wedding anniversary bash in Tiverton. We were in the main house rather than the 'annex' where three more rooms were located. Access to the car park at the rear is very narrow so look out if you have a large 4X4! Access to the B & B itself is via a very narrow lane from the M5 although to the west the roads are better. The room was charming with a four poster bed and tastefully decorated. The en-suite was next door but it could have done with a proper shower (rather than just a spray attachment on a hose) although the location of the bath right next to the window would have made this difficult to provide. The view from the room was lovely and the wonderful weather helped.

Breakfast was good and the owner, who appeared to be on his own seemed to be doing everything - good bit of multitasking! Comfortable, cosy B&B . Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed with a tasty breakfast. The owners have thought of everything. Whitnage is about 5 miles from Tiverton and there is a pub in the next village that does evening meals. Very comfortable B&B. A great B&B, though not in Tiverton itself. Lovely room, quiet location and friendly hosts. We were on a cycling trip and our bikes were locked away in the garage overnight. We highly recommend Brambles Bed and Breakfast to all! This was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Budleigh Salterton and the surrounding areas. The owners were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, the room was comfortable and luxurious and the surroundings of the B & B was just beautifully peaceful. We had a perfect stay here and will most definitely go back, you really couldn't ask for anything more. Great value for money. Lovely room, tidy, clean & with good facilities. Close enough to Tiverton (assuming that you drive) to make a good base for exploring the Tiverton area. Convenient for Tiverton, very friendly and comfortable.

We couldn't have been happier with this accommodation. I found it without any problems by following the instructions sent within the confirmation email. Don’t know if satnav would put you outside the front door, because my car does not have it! The proprietor, Dave, was very friendly, talkative and helpful. It was warm with a friendly atmosphere, clean rooms and very comfortable. We were in the main dwelling but still felt very private with our own en-suite bathroom just next door. The four-poster bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and clean. Plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate, horlicks and a few biscuits provided. We had an excellent full English breakfast which was very tasty indeed. For the money, you wouldn’t find a better value place to stay. I would recommend to anybody. Very nice staff, good breakfast, beautiful view from property, good value. The rooms are in an annex in the rear of the house. A bit difficult to find (which is probably typical of countryside accommodation). Central heating is available 24/7. The food was good and room excellent. Dave the owner was so helpful and was very welcoming to this lovely place. We will be going back again in the near future that’s for sure. Excellent accommodation - home from home!

We stayed on Boxing Day evening as we visited relatives over Christmas. David was an excellent host and not phased when we turned up earlier than our scheduled arrival time. The room was very clean and warm with interesting features. The high ceilings made it seem luxurious! Friendly welcome, lovely well-prepared room, quiet and comfortable sleep, great breakfast. The lot really, splendid! Very good stay. Room was excellent though it was a bit hard to find but I would stay again if I find myself in the Tiverton area. The room was really nice and comfortable the views were lovely the breakfast was excellent and the owner was very pleasant. Glorious Devon. Brambles was not what I expected, it was much better! Deep in rural Devon, good food nearby in the local (highly recommended) pub. Room was very comfortable and separate from the main house giving privacy to guests. Great little B&B. Warm and made welcome. Good value and a lovely location. Very accommodating. We were pleased to be offered a check in outside the standard times in order for our day to run more smoothly. The room was very sweet and well kept - just what we needed for our stay. Practical but cosy.
