Brambles Bed and Breakfast - Tiverton - Reviews - Page 10.

Beautiful surroundings for a short getaway. We arrived a little after the check in time and were greeted warmly and shown to the garden room. They couldn't have known how perfect for us this was - as seasoned campers we really cherish our own company and freedom - this was met by our own access and gorgeous garden to enjoy our morning coffee quietly with the stunning view. A farm shop a little way down the road meant pick your own berries and Devonshire clotted cream with our coffee from Crediton coffee company (a must visit if you are in the area) - all in all a short break with some great memories. Thanks again Brambles. A hidden gem. Superb Bed & Breakfast. Great room, excellent service, fantastic breakfast. Clean, modern, fresh, quiet location, comfortable. Nice people. Everything you could wish for. Ideal stopover if travelling to Devon/Cornwall from the North of England. Cosy with attention to Detail. Directions were given at the time of booking, very precise. When we arrived we were given some useful tips on getting around the area. Our room was the Cottage Room in the converted stables and it was very quaint and comfortable. We could put the radiator on whenever we wanted.

There were ample plug sockets, and a courtesy tray to die for, with all kinds of teas and coffee, drinking chocolate and sweets. A hair dryer and Wi-Fi in our room as standard. Also there was use of a fridge for our meds. Ample car Parking spaces and beautiful views. We didn't include breakfast option in our stay as we had early starts. The only down side was that the bathroom was very small, otherwise would have got 5 stars! Xx Beautiful setting fabulous stay. Caroline gave us perfect directions to find this fabulous place in a great and quiet spot. We were warmly welcomed and quickly settled in for our (unfortunately) one-night stay. We were 2 couples, we were in the annex and our friends upstairs in the main house with a four-poster and fabulous views. Our room was wonderful, immaculately clean, a comfy bed and blissfully quiet. On advice of a local Mum we passed on the very narrow road we went to the Dolphin pub for a great meal then back for a good night's rest. After a great breakfast and chat with our terrific hosts we were off to wend our way to Salisbury. Quaint Country Cottage Theme.

We arrived early evening for a 3 night stay and we were greeted by Alison who welcomed us and showed us to our gorgeous en suite in the Annex called 'The Cottage Room'. Where we were given some useful information on getting around the area. Tastefully decorated in country style with beams above the bed. Attention to detail; specifying thick fluffy towels, an extensive courtesy tray which is filled to capacity each day; loads of plug sockets; Superfast free Wi-Fi; Flat screen TV with all freeview channels; hair dryer; and extra blanket if needed. Radiator, which we could adjust for comfort. Useful to be able to use the fridge in the garage too. Car park just a few steps away and beautiful views over the countryside. Would stay here again to use as a stopover; gives a great feeling with creature comforts. Excellent. Great B and B. 3 good size double rooms. We used 2 in the annex and the 1 in the main house. Close to M5 but feels rural with nice garden with seats and a view. Good breakfasts with a nice choice. clean comfortable rooms. Very friendly couple who own the place. Perfect one night stay! The owners were very friendly and gave us a great reception. The room and bath were impeccable, very clean and beautifully decorated.

The cooked breakfast was delicious, while we had it we chatted with the owner, so we felt at home, in every sense. Highly recommended! Another great stay. We have just stayed here again on our way to westward ho....we love it here..the hosts are so welcoming and the rooms are lovely with great lush comfortable beds...the breakfast was scrummy...cannot walk now so stuffed...we will be back next year thanks both xx Excellent experience of a quiet, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast could be better with a dedicated chef on site. I would recommend this to anyone. The facilities are managed by the owners who are very committed. The service is unparalleled. Great stay and lovely warm welcome! Have just returned from a perfect few days at this hidden gem . David greeted us at the time agreed and showed us to our accommodation ~ The Garden Room, which was very welcoming with amazing views over the countryside. Our room had a lovely 'cottage' feel to it and had plenty of choice for hot drinks plus bottled water. The bed was fine, the room was warm and comfortable and the en-suite was adequate for our needs. We opted for the breakfast (which was an optional extra) and were pleased we had.

Plenty of choice ~ cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast and then a cooked full English, all cooked and served to us by the lovely Cicely. Very friendly and chatty lady. David was usually on hand at breakfast and would always ask if everything was ok and what our plans were for the day. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a pleasant smile each morning. Would highly recommend the Brambles to family and friends and we will definitely stay here again. Ideal for anyone wanting a rural peaceful retreat and relaxation, and close to all areas we were wanting to be near. Thumbs up from two very satisfied guests! Peaceful rural atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay at The Brambles. Our room (1 of 4 in the outside annexe) was tastefully decorated and warm, with a country cottage feel to it. The bed was good - I had the best sleep since leaving home a week before. We were given very comprehensive directions to the property by email which was good as it involved driving through narrow country lanes. It was very close to the highway (you could see it in the far distance). Great Wi-Fi. For dinner we were told about the local pub in Uplowman, which we could walk to. Here we had a huge pork roast in the sleepy village pub.
