We had a wonderful stay at Brambles, the accommodation was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean and furnished beautifully with everything you could possibly need and the bed was so comfy. Alison provided an outstanding breakfast (menu), served in the dining room overlooking the garden. Alison gave us excellent directions on finding the home and we were warmly welcomed by David making us feel like friends not guests. The house and garden were beautiful, and everything was so serene, with lovely views of the surrounding country side. Alison and David were incredible hosts and went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much. There is a small village only a few minute drive away, with a lovely local country pub where you can get a nice meal. Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington are close by, with many things to see and do. Visit the Tiverton Museum and learn about the lace industry, see the old Lace Factory and visit Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton).
Friendly and clean, lovely gardens, wonderful breakfasts (menu). The Golden Panda (Tiverton) supplied the best Chinese food I’ve had in a good while well worth a visit.

David and Alison were lovely hosts and cooked a tremendous breakfast (menu). Fabulous start to our holiday. We recommend you follow the directions given by David and Alison and not follow your sat nav, we normally get lost but arrived without any detours. We went to the local pub in the village for our tea, Alison was lovely and the food was great.
Very good service, welcoming and accommodation full of lots of little thoughtful extras. Views from rooms over beautiful gardens peaceful and quiet. Don't be put off by the directions they are very detailed and easy to follow even if driving on your own. Thoroughly recommend.

Alison & David are excellent host. Very warm and welcoming, genuinely nice couple. They could not do enough for us, from the moment we arrived, until we left. Our accommodation was very clean and had everything we could want. Breakfast (menu) in the morning was like a mini feast. Everything you could thing of they had, and it was fresh & tasty. We have stayed at a lot of b&bs over the years and we think this is one of the best. The location is beautiful & the views are amazing. One of England's little hidden gems. The local pub which is a lovely 10 min walk, we would recommend. The food was very tasty and the service very friendly, without being over the top. We enjoyed it so much that we only ate there during our stay. So many nice places to visit and things to do. Which Alison & David would happily tell you about.
We spent a week with Allison and Dave, their breakfast (menu) was excellent, location was idyllic, both were very helpful with suggestions of places to visit, clean accommodation and lovely garden, missed out on seeing the woodpeckers. Shall definitely visit again. Clovelly is a must, Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton), Bickleigh, and Dunster. The Fisherman’s Cot (Bickleigh, Tiverton) is a lovely restaurant by the river.
The best place - including top hotels - we have ever stayed. So many lovely little touches in the accommodation and such a friendly atmosphere. A walk to the pub in Uplowman for dinner was a great way to unwind - and the food was delicious as well.

So, David and Alison sent the directions warning us not to rely on the post code in our SATNAV. We read them, just a bit too late. But there’s a bonus. Instead of traffic noise, birdsong is the sound you’re going to hear as you wake up. We stayed in a king room, the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Good selection of towels, flannels etc. Shower was excellent. Really nice breakfast (menu). Overall, a really good stay. We are going back later in the year. Very relaxing stay in a lovely part of Devon. We ate at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) pub, about a fifteen minute walk down a country lane. A rider and horse passed us on the way there.
Dave and Alison were very helpful and welcoming. Our accommodation was very comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast (menu) was very good with lots of choice, and they served an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Brambles also has a lovely garden with views of the Blackdown Hills and the Devon countryside. We visited Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton), a National Trust property, which was very close and also had a trip to the Tarr Steps and Dunster which were well worth a visit. Tiverton is very close and is an interesting old market town.

Very friendly welcome and lovely views from the pretty garden. You seem to have thought of just about everything. The bed was very comfortable, accommodation cosy and well equipped with loads of choices for tea / coffee etc. Breakfast (menu) was good too. We loved the location in beautiful rural Devon reached along pretty lanes with high hedges on banks of wild flowers and we heard the birds singing as we drove along - a rare treat. About an hour from Exmoor and Dartmoor. Killerton and Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton) within easy reach and we went to Garden Festival at Powderham Castle - well worth a visit. It's also easy to get to places like Sidmouth too. Recommend River Cottage Cafe in Axminster for pasties if you are over that way! Excellent stop off place for Cornwall and Dorset. We ignored our confused sat nav and used our trusted OS maps!
We only stayed one night - but it was a good stop. Coffee and hot chocolate in room. Excellent shower, comfortable bed. Breakfast (menu) plenty and tasty.

Alison and David are very welcoming and excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well stocked with a wide selection of teas, coffees and nibbles. Breakfasts (menu) are very good - generous and well prepared. The Brambles is highly recommended!
