This is my second stay due to the wonderful experience of staying here. It is lovely accommodation with everything I needed, the facilities are perfect and you are made so welcome. Little things like putting fresh milk in your room, making sure the room is warm and the kettle on for your arrival make it extra special. I'll definitely return. It is a country retreat, accessed through small country lanes, so weather may need to be considered if needing to get out and about. Exeter and Taunton are about half hour away by car. The local pub provides great meals and very friendly staff.

After a busy day it was wonderful to come back to a lovely, clean room with a sidelight thoughtfully left on for return when dark. There was plenty of choice for breakfast (menu). David and Alison were friendly but not intrusive.
Lovely garden room with nice views. One of the best breakfasts (menu) we've had at a b&b - everything you could want. I'd certainly recommend staying here.

Just beautiful. Perfect spot to unplug for a while. Walk to the local pub by torchlight was lovely. Even after just a two day stay came away feeling well rested. Easy driving to other parts of Devon and West Somerset or down into Cornwall or Dorset. We fitted a morning visit to Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton), a wander around Ilfracombe, walk along the beach at Woolacombe, dinner at Barnstaple and dessert and a drink at the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) pub, a short drive from the b&b into a day!
Superb breakfast (menu). Very friendly owners. Off road parking. We will definitely be staying there again.

Absolutely delightful cottage and people would highly recommend a stay anytime We will definitely visit in future. Listen to Alison and Davids advice about directions to Brambles as one route is certainly easier than the other.
Alison and David were both friendly and helpful. Delicious morning breakfast (menu) more than we could eat. The bed was particularly comfortable, the accommodation was warm and cosy on cold November nights. We appreciated the nibbles of an evening and choice of hot drinks. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. We enjoyed our day at Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton). Bickleigh Milll and Fisherman’s Cot (Bickleigh) excellent food and friendly staff.
A great time, comfy beds. Great breakfast (menu), very friendly. Recommend everyone to stay there and relax. Ten out of Ten on every count. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) pub is good value and has an interesting menu.
Cannot beat this one, I’m a traveller been to 60 countries. Top class. Clean. Wonderful people. Beautiful.

Wonderful b & b. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable very warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Alison and David really have thought of everything and all the extras in the room were greatly appreciated too. Their directions to the property were extremely helpful and we hope to stay again next time we visit Devon. Would highly recommend this fabulous b & b really cannot fault it. Thank you, Alison and David, for all you did, we will be back.
Lovely family run establishment. A very warm welcome and farewell, delicious cooked and continental breakfast (menu), although I could only indulge on one of my mornings. I stayed while attending a wedding at near-by Huntsham Court (Huntsham, Tiverton), and taxi recommendation was spot on - and a special mention to say thank you to David on realising I'd left the wedding outfit hanging downstairs and heading off to the venue. Quick thinking, rang and text me so I didn't get all the way there and panic! I highly recommend, David & Alison as friendly hosts, in a lovely location!
Very friendly welcome. Super spacious rooms. Very quiet and cozy & warm. Lovely views. Pretty garden. Breakfast (menu) has an excellent choice & very tasty.
We were made very welcome and we loved the Garden Room which offered everything we needed including available parking. Also enjoyed the breakfast (menu). We would certainly stay with you again. One of our favourite places to visit in the local area is the Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal). So peaceful and picturesque. There is a nice cafe there which is open from Easter to September and seating indoors and outdoors.
A lovely tranquil backwater of Devon. Would stay again. Good rustic food at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) about 3/4 of a a mile away. But breakfast (menu) is a meal not to be missed.
Very helpful & friendly hosts. Quiet country location. Gold Star breakfast (menu)! We very much appreciated the many thoughtful & generous 'extras' provided. Brambles may be a couple of miles from the main road but is worth every bit of the extra distance. Do make sure you follow the directions provided by the proprietors - much better than following the satnav.

We were made to feel very welcome at Brambles. Alison and David have gone to lot of trouble to provide everything that you could possibly want in your room. We stayed in the Garden Room which has a beautiful view of the valley and the garden. The breakfast (menu) was delicious and there is a vast choice on offer. Brambles is conveniently located, close enough to the M5 motorway (Junction 27) to be convenient but far enough away to provide a peaceful and tranquil setting. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay enroute to Cornwall. Do not be put off by comments about the country lanes that lead to the Brambles and follow the excellent directions that are provided.
Tucked away in the middle of the countryside, the directions are really good. I stayed in the annexe, it was clean and warm with everything to hand. Loved the bottled water, often overlooked by others. Breakfast (menu) was a wide choice. Too much for me, the cooked breakfast was good quality food nicely presented. Lovely warm welcome for me and my hearing assistance dog. Good public footpath opposite. I visited the National Trust property at Killerton (Broadclyst, Exeter), well worth the visit, which has a BSL tour on a tablet. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area or passing through.
