Brambles Bed and Breakfast - Tiverton - Reviews - Page 15.

Nice and clean, nice big shower. Felt as if we had our own wee house. Owners very friendly and approachable. Breakfast not available due to holidays but this did not detract from the overall experience. Weather was lovely so we could have our morning coffee sitting in the garden. Would recommend, very reasonably priced. Just what wanted. Owner kept in touch about my arrival time and nothing was too much effort. Football was on when I arrived and great quality and selection of refreshments in room. Room clean tidy and cosy. Pleasant. We just had one night here on our way to Cornwall and did not book breakfast. We were in the Linhay annexe and it was clean, pretty and comfortable. Our only irritation was that people talking on the path outside our room was quite intrusive. (Did not happen much) We ate at the local pub (Redwoods Inn) and the food was good and the staff welcoming although the lighting harsh and lacking in atmosphere. We would be happy to return. Simply excellent!! great place, so glad we found it! We spent 3 nights here and spent our days exploring the amazing nearby sites and towns! Ideally located for this purpose and a lovely local pub just a 10 minute walk away serving great food!! Highly recommended.

The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast freshly cooked was excellent. The access from the M5 was tricky for me, having a larger vehicle, but would be fine otherwise. I've seen comments about the price, but in my experience, and I stay in maybe 5-8 B&Bs a month, £40 (including breakfast) is very good value for the location. Wonderful stay at Brambles B&B. What a lovely place!! we stayed in the annexe, for the price you just can’t go wrong!! the room was lovely, Location was great!! the pub is only 15-20mins walk away, that serves great food, one of the friendliest pubs I have ever been to, highly recommended! The B&B hosts were delightful, very helpful and friendly, did not try the breakfast as we did not book so can’t comment on that but if you are after somewhere in the area, then this is the place to book, Peaceful 2-night stay for 2- would recommend! We had a lovely break at 'Brambles'... it was very 'Brambly Hedge'! The decor in our room was in-keeping with the theme, except for the maps of St Lucia and the Caribbean. We had a lovely, double aspect, four-poster 'Amber' room with far-reaching views. Although we were close to the motor way the only 'noise' we heard was bird-song.

The owner of the B&B was very welcoming and was helpful with her local directions etc. Apparently there is a pub only a short walk away from the B&B which I would, no doubt, have enjoyed had it not been for the inclement weather...! This is an excellent B&B and I would undoubtedly stay here again. Amazing value! We stayed one night on our way to Cornwall based mainly on location and price. This was probably the lowest rate I've paid for a B&B in the UK so I was somewhat concerned about quality. I needn't have worried. We had a very comfortable and clean room which is all I could ask for. The proprietor was welcoming and helpful. He recommended a couple of places to eat and we ended up going down the road to the pub where we had a good meal. On our return from Cornwall, we ended up staying another night here. We phoned from the road without much warning and turned up an hour later. We had a room only rate so I cannot comment on breakfast. If you need a clean, comfortable and good value choice in the area, this is a fine place to stay.

A full and continental breakfast was served in the house overlooking the countryside. It cost an extra 8 pounds each which should really have been included in the price seeing as it is advertised as a B&B. If charging extra, a cheaper option of some cereal, fruit and yoghurt only should have been on offer and would have suited me better. However the decor in the dining room, and the use of cloth napkins and table cloth was a nice touch rather than paper serviettes. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Comfortable, clean and exactly what we wanted. Just back from a good weekend stay visiting family . Brambles provided just what we needed - a comfortable, warm double room in the outdoor block with a decent-sized bed and good pillows for two full nights' sleep. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a decent shower and plenty of hot water on demand. We didn't book breakfast but rooms are equipped with a comprehensive tea & coffee making tray, biscuits and bottled water. All in all, if we need a B&B in this area again, we'd be very happy to stay here in future and I'd recommend it wholeheartedly. Just be ready for the narrow lanes to reach Brambles from the M5, but a warm welcome will await.

My friend and I arrived wet and muddy after a long cycle, we were warmly welcomed by the charming couple who ran this cosy little B&B with a hot cup of coffee and a warm shower. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Even without the cooked breakfast, the continental contained all kinds of fruits and cereals and we left more than satisfied!! Lovely B&B. Lovely, friendly B&B. The room was clean and cosy. Large comfortable bed, en-suite with both shower and a deep bath, and a selection of coffees, teas and snacks in the room. Breakfast was excellent, with a selection of hot and cold options. The surrounding area is beautiful and very peaceful, as the service very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended. Long weekend break. As usual Alison and David bed and breakfast is just wonderful it's a hidden gem. Everything you need for a truly comfortable stay many thanks will get back. Rooms are so unique breakfast is just perfect start to the day. Location perfect the gardens currently have beautiful potted pots with brightly coloured flowers.
