We loved our stay at Brambles. We would love to stay again! Great communication and directions beforehand and lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. Thank you very much for our stay. We chose Brambles because as we wanted to visit Diggerland (Willand) with our 8 Yr old son, we were not disappointed with either. We ate at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) down the road the first evening and had a take away from the same place the second evening. It was good food and piping hot. We used the garden table and chairs at the b&b to enjoy it outside. It's a lovely setting.
Alison & David, fully deserve 5's all round. Great knowledge of Devon and Somerset, and the area around Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington) & nothing was too much trouble at breakfast (menu). Great views from the back garden. Offered to provide plates & cutlery if we wanted a takeaway and use of their fridge if we wanted to chill some bottles. Meals out at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) walking distance, the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) 5 min drive, and the Hickory Inn (Halberton, Tiverton) if you like a plate full. A walk along the Grand Western Canal Country Park (Tiverton Canal) is also worth a visit.
David & Alison are amazing!. They both have made my stay at Brambles very comfortable and homely. They both go above and beyond to make your stay at Brambles excellent. Plus, you are also surrounded by a beautiful garden. I would definitely stay there again.
Excellent and very friendly venue - a real treat to stay!. The local pub offers great food and good cask ales too.

Brambles is set in beautiful rural Devon, near the border with West Somerset. If you are able to book the breakfast (menu), it is well recommended. Our accommodation looked out onto the very pretty garden and was clean and spacious – en-suite shower room has a large shower. Alison and David are very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the local towns in the area (Cullompton, Honiton, Tiverton and Wellington. Do follow the directions Alison and David send. Although the road is narrow, there are many passing places. There are some good eating places within a 5 mile drive. We walked to the pub 0.7 miles from the b & b. It is ideally situated to explore both North and South coasts of Devon. It is perfectly situated to visit the Grand Western Canal Country Park (Tiverton Canal).
Couldn’t ask for a better welcome!!. The directions for getting there were excellent & extremely helpful!! Rooms so tastefully furnished with many little extras to help make your visit enjoyable!! Plenty of information in your room for places to eat!! Breakfast (menu) was delicious good service & plenty to eat!! Would certainly return if ever in the area & would recommend!! Lovely gardens where you could sit & relax if you wanted to do especially in the long summer evenings.

Loved the quiet rural location, while still being conveniently located for the main roads (M5, A361 and A38) to all parts of Devon, and Tiverton only 10 minutes or so away. Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the delicious breakfast (menu) to the full every day and got back early enough to enjoy a drink in the garden, but we also tried to see as much of the county as possible. Hospitality could not have been better, and the fun we had with the other couples topped it off. Good base for links to all parts of Devon and West Somerset, from Dartmoor to the South and Exmoor and the North coast.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to come again or recommend Brambles to anyone staying in Devon. The service and facilities were second to none and breakfast (menu) to die for. Alison and David were very helpful and sociable throughout our stay. The location is spot on for exploring Devon being very centrally located. We had dinner two nights at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) which is walkable from Brambles. The food and service were excellent and very reasonably priced. We also had a lovely walk along the Great Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) which is located very close by. The gardens at Brambles are also lovely to sit out in and have a drink.
Lovely place. Room was brilliant. Really liked the different teas and coffee. Really friendly owners too like be home away from home.
Fantastic b&b nothing is too much trouble I would challenge anyone to find anything better for the price. Take notice of the way to reach the b&b that the owner gives you. Beautiful surroundings and good food at Frou Frou (Tiverton).
Very welcoming. Beautiful accommodation and garden. Excellent breakfast (menu). Pub down the road within walking distance with good food and welcoming atmosphere.
Nice area, room lovely fresh and clean, all you needed in tea, coffee decaffeinated as well, biscuits, even humbugs, views from the garden amazing and the garden it's self is great, quiet, loads of plants and flowers, very good selection for breakfast (menu) including, vegetarian, made to feel very welcome. All in all, a great stay, when back in the area will be using again.
The Brambles has a well-deserved high reputation. Everything was just right with lots of nice touches such as a variety of teas and snacks you don't normally find in b&bs. Highly recommended. The pub down the road is excellent. You can walk to it if you are energetic enough.
Alison & Dave are excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely stay & are looking forward to staying again. We can recommend the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) for meals. They also do bike hire and are located on the Grand Western Canal Coutnry Park (aka the Tiverton Canal).

Lovely, friendly and informative hosts. Great location for exploring Devo and West Somerset. Very quiet, rural setting with beautiful gardens to enjoy. Perfect for stopover driving to Cornwall.
Alison and David couldn't be more helpful or welcoming. There was an excellent selection for breakfast (menu) and a good supply of refreshments in the accommodation. The garden, which visitors can use, is beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful location. It may be difficult to find but with the directions supplied it's very straightforward. Perfect, you can tell David and Alison have thought of everything. It's a small bugbear of mine but would have loved some fresh milk for tea instead of UHT. Owners Response: We are happy to provide a jug of fresh milk if requested but tend not to leave it in the room prior to check-in as it spoils so quickly.
Absolutely fantastic, the owners have thought about everything. The bed was lovely and comfy. Such a friendly couple too. Need a car, but everything is perfect, such a beautiful setting. Owners Response: Many of our guests also travel by train into the nearby Tiverton Parkway railway station at Sampford Peverell or by coach to Tiverton Bus Station and explore the area on foot or bike. There is also a regular bus service serving the area less than a mile away, including Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington. Bike hire is available at the nearby Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) for cycling on the Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal).
