Alison and Dave were very friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Accommodation and the facilities in the room were exceptional. Good stock of refreshments with plenty of choice. Plenty of choice at breakfast (menu) with the breakfast being excellent. The location of the b&b made it easy to travel places ib both Devon and West Somerset. Lovely views over the valley too. Be prepared the b&b is located in a village, in the countryside, therefore access to it is through country lanes.
A short drive from the M5 motorway (Junction 27), the final 3/4 of a mile is along a narrow lane but Brambles is well worth it. The views are quite spectacular, quiet situation too so a good night's sleep!! There is a public house situated in the village.
Lovely helpful staff fabulous breakfast (menu) and comfortable accommodation with great little extras. The Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) where we had an evening meal. I would recommend and the bed and breakfast which is in a great location for visiting South and North Devon, as well as Mid Devon and West Somerset.
We had a lovely one night stay at Brambles. Alison made us very welcome. We had the room in the house which was very comfortable, exceptionally clean and very quiet. The breakfast (menu) was lovely and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Would recommend the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) pub nearby for an evening meal.
Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Alison was friendly and very helpful, thank you. There is still a local pub for good food, a 15 min walk away. Another 2 pubs are a short distance away.

I enjoyed a wonderful (and all too brief) one night stay at the Brambles on a cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats. Alison was an incredibly helpful and gracious host, and made me feel immediately at home, going out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed, and even offering to wash some of my cycling kit. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in, breakfast (menu) superb, and the views from the windows beautiful. I'd have no hesitation to recommend the Brambles to anybody visiting the Devon and left wishing I could've stayed longer! I hope to visit again in the future.
Lovely overnight stay in a beautiful peaceful location. A very warm welcome with lots of goodies in my room. Room was big and very clean. Lovely tradition finishing and a large comfy bed. Quiet at night. Loved seeing the stars and moon. Tv with Netflix was a nice touch. Breakfast (menu) was delicious with a good selection. Very happy traveller, thanks so much. Went for tea at the Italian restaurant! Delicious food and get service, highly recommend.
The location was very handy, being just a few minutes’ drive from / to the M5 motorway (Junction 27). The bonus was that despite its location close to the M5, the b&b was in a very peaceful hamlet in the countryside. The accommodation was in a very quiet annexe adjacent to the owner’s cottage - it was very comfortable and delightfully quiet. The owner came out to greet me as I arrived which was a lovely touch. Overall, highly recommended. Do pay attention to the owner’s advice not to rely solely on your satnav. Instead, follow the clear and detailed directions, including a very useful map, provided by the owner before you travel.
Well-equipped accommodation with a comfortable bed where we stayed for 3 nights. A very welcoming refreshments tray with just about everything included & a jug of fresh milk was most welcome after a long journey. Equally the breakfast (menu) provided in the main house is a good selection and worthy of 5 stars & cooked fresh by Alison who it seems nothing is too much of a problem. Even though I personally don’t eat a cooked breakfast there were other choices. Handy for Tiverton Golf Club, Cullompton and Wellington as well as North Somerset coast. There is a pub / restaurant a few minutes’ drive away in a charming setting plus other choices slightly further away. Brambles is in a lovely peaceful relaxing location with outstanding views just a few minutes from the M5 motorway (Junction 27) and private parking outside of your accommodation. It’s small & friendly & we intend revisiting when next in the area. Very good value for money & I would highly recommend to couples visiting the Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington area.

Warm, friendly welcome. The place was clean and comfortable with lots of nice little ‘extras’. Lovely views of the countryside. Good array of choices for breakfast (menu). Good value for money and handy for the M5 motorwau (Junction 27). Easy parking. The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), the local pub recommended by hosts, served good wholesome food.
I stayed here again on business yet again I cannot express how very good my stay was again nothing too much trouble, Allison and David gave me a warm welcome. Cleanliness, food quality and amount superb everything and everybody accounted for. I had a lovely meal in the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) pub food was very good I recommend the sirloin steak and cider to wash it down of course.
Nice clean comfortable accommodation and breakfast (menu) really nice. Westcountry Golf Academy (WGA) Golf Course & Driving Range (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton), 9 hole par 3 golf course and driving range in village open to public.
Wonderful hosts, the room was amazing and it was a perfect little break away. Great links to go either to North or South Devon, and West Somerset. The local pub was warm, and friendly and the food was really nice.

Perfect! Easy booking, great communication, clear and helpful directions. Wonderful welcome. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and well equipped. Lots of thoughtful extras too. Local pub with food, within walking distance - take the torch provided! Would definitely recommend and stay again.
We enjoyed a really comfortable overnight with great views from our bedroom window and a comfortable bed. Breakfast (menu) was amazing and our hosts couldn’t have done more to increase our comfort. Highly recommended.

David and Alison were really lovely, they were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation had everything I needed and was clean and well presented. Good selection of drinks and bathroom items. Amazing view from the garden. I would definitely stay again. Nice walks along the nearby Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal). Roads are quite narrow but I didn’t come across any other traffic. Local pub is walkable and welcoming.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Brambles! Our accommodation was very clean and supplied with everything you could want for a lovely stay. We were impressed with the varied selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate, biscuits, nuts and even wine glasses. Fresh milk was also offered daily, and I much prefer this to the UHT milk. David and Alison are amazing and friendly hosts who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and looked after! We would highly recommend and hope to try the breakfast (menu) next time. The Brambles is located is a quiet village area. Would recommend you follow the directions the hosts give you.
I was made to feel most welcome and there were lots of little thoughtful items in the room.
