Hotel | Bed and Breakfast | Accommodation | Tiverton | Devon
- What a great little find! Came to Devon on business, I stayed in the main house and had a four poster bed, the accommodation was clean and had a homely feel. Beautiful gardens and parking. Breakfast (menu) was nice and the tea coffee and snacks in my room was an extra bonus. Would come and stay again when I’m back in the Tiverton again. Thank you for being super hosts too. Thanks.
- We had an excellent 3 night stay, Alison meet us in the car park on arrival and had already put the kettle on for us. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, quiet, well equipped even down to an extra blanket if needed. Extensive selection of teas, coffees, treats and snacks, replenished every day. Lovely powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Enjoyed sitting in the glorious flower garden for afternoon tea on the lawn catching the last of the day’s sunshine. The breakfast (menu) was very well presented with lots of variety to choose from. Alison and David were excellent hosts with lots of local knowledge for places to visit and things to do. We tried both the local pubs, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) and the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) both serving excellent meals. We had days out across Exmoor and Lynmouth with a cream tea at the Lynton & Barnstaple Steam Railway. A short drive to Exmouth and surrounding coastline.
- Lovely couple with a stunning b & b. Our accommodation had so many lovely little thoughtful touches. Top class breakfast (menu). We were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommended. We ate at the local Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton). Fabulous food, lovely pub and a very warm welcome.
- Everything was truly comfortable, welcoming and just what was needed and wished for. The rooms are very homely, and the quality is spot on too. Plenty of room too and wonderfully comfortable bed. The host is only too happy to engage in lengthy conversation as well. The tremendous county of Devon!
- Great place nestled in the countryside. Owners are great guys, place has everything you need. Loads of walks and things to do, about 15 mins to Tiverton.
- Lovely b&b. Very friendly and welcoming. Every need catered for, very clean. Clear, easy to follow directions given to find Brambles. Delicious breakfast (menu).
- Alison, our host was wonderful. She greeted us on our arrival, and it felt more like visiting a friend. Our accommodation was spotless, comfortable and the attention to detail was excellent. There were toiletries in the bathroom, welcome snacks and a huge array of coffees and teas. Highly recommend the full English breakfast (menu), very tasty. Also, on offer were yoghurts, cereals and toast together with a pot of tea or coffee and fruit juice. Beautiful views from Alison’s beautifully kept garden. Parking available. Highly recommended x
- We were made to feel really welcome. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The facilities were excellent and the bed was very comfortable. However, the highlight was the breakfast (menu), set us up for the day. We ate in the evening at the local pub. The food choice was extensive and the food good.
- Friendly welcome to very comfortable and well provided for accommodation and breakfast (menu).
- Excellent hosts who always make you feel at home. This is our most go to b&b in Devon. We have been using this b&b for several years and have never been disappointed. There is a lovely village pub just down the lane from the b&b where they serve good pub grub.
- Great breakfast (menu). Nice hosts.
- We stopped over on our way to Cornwall, were greeted by Alison very friendly our accommodation was very cosy clean and comfortable, the garden was full of plants and the views stretched out over the fields just perfect .Alison gave us information on where best to walk and eat and we had a lovely stay, enjoyed a good meal at the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) and walked along the Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka Tiverton Canal). Very comfortable night’s sleep, breakfast (menu) was perfect and felt refreshed for our journey, couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay.
- Always very friendly and helpful Very warm welcome, facilities are excellent and the breakfast (menu) could not be better. We must try and visit for a longer stay. A good centre for visiting much of Devon and West Somerset and so handy for M5 motorway (Junctions 26, 27 and 28). RHS Rosemoor (Great Torrington) well worth the 40-mile cross-county trip. Great for National Trust members with properties both near e.g. Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tverton) and Killerton (Broadclyst, Exeter) and further afield e.g. Castle Drogo (Drewsteignton, Exeter) or Dunster Castle near Minehead. Good food at the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton).
- Amazing location, friendly host, clean, lovely room. Great location for wedding venue Huntsham Court (Hunsham, Tiverton). A lovely pub just a short walk from the b & b that does excellent food.
- Set in beautiful gardens, owners take great care in maintaining. The b&b everything is all very good quality. Great hosts enjoyed our stay will certainly book again if travelling to the Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington area.
- Very nice people, breakfast (menu) and rooms were excellent, would definitely recommend to friends. Lovely views, very peaceful, would definitely go again. The pub at the end of the road good for our evening meal, lots to see, canal walks, material warehouse etc we were only there one night but would definitely go back for longer. Sat nav gave us trouble finding it but speak to Alison for directions. Best to use the business or property address, and not rely solely on the post code.
- Friendly, helpful.
- Lovely place to stay in the Tiverton area. The hosts, Alison & Dave made us really welcome, and I would highly recommend staying at this b&b on the Devon and West Somerset border. The Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal) is well worth a visit for a pleasant stroll in the countryside and by the waterside. There is a very nice café at the Tiverton end of the canal for refreshments. I would also recommend the Hickory Inn (Halberton, Tiverton) for great food.
- This was our second stay at Brambles, unfortunately breakfast was not available, but we were informed of this fact on making our booking. Bedroom was comfortable and clean, the view from the property was lovely. Peaceful night’s sleep. A few miles off the M5 motorway (Junction 27) up some narrow lanes but worth the drive. As we had eaten before arriving for our stay, we did not require restaurants, but passed several public houses close to the property.
- Enjoyed my time at the Brambles immensely. Hosts were kind and efficient and made my two day stay relaxing and delightful. Tea and biscuits at a table in the garden, we were blessed with sunshine and idyllic views. Rural silence at night broken only by the occasional owl and I woke to birdsong. Flowers, peace and hospitality, what more could one wish for?
- Wonderful location, clean and cozy accommodation, lovely hosts, excellent breakfast (menu). I would definitely recommend staying and hope to stay again soon.
- We enjoyed our stay and will stay again very comfortable
- Lovely location, breakfast (menu) very good, hosts very friendly and helpful. Handy for Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington. Visit the Pannier Market (Tiverton), the National Trust property at Killerton (Broadclyst, Exeter) worth a visit. Recommend the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) for food within walking distance. Also, the Butterleigh Inn (Butterleigh, Cullompton), is a short drive.
- Rooms very clean and very well equipped.... Well, positioned for onward visits to Minehead. Ilfracombe...Westward Ho!.... the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) a short drive away.
- Lovely stay, hospitable, helpful hosts. Lovely garden and views. Fab breakfast (menu). Couldn’t have been better. Road to the village is narrow, but don’t let that put you off.
