We were met at an early check in time and offered fresh milk to have a welcome cup of tea. The Garden Room was lovely, warm and the bed was very comfortable. We both enjoyed a great breakfast (menu). The facilities in the room for tea / coffee were very good. Certainly, hope to return again. We ate locally at the Waterloo Cross (Uffculme, Cullompton) for lunch on our first day, just the other side of the M5 motorway (Junction 27). It was a nice place to eat, and the food was first class. We visited Dawlish and Teignmouth, typical old fashioned sea side resorts and ate fish and chips, lovely.
If you want the joys of an old-fashioned b and b with modern facilities this, is it. It is in a small hamlet and down a mile or so of narrow lane, but this is no problem to those who like the country. I stay to break a journey and find it ideal to spend the evening in.
We were extremely pleased with our one night stay at the Brambles, in fact we would have liked to have stayed longer, such a lovely couple running the business with brilliant attention to detail. We certainly will not have a problem recommending anyone to stay if they find themselves in the Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington area. We are hoping we will have to visit our customer, a short distance away, in the not too distant future so we can book up again.
Lovely hosts. The accommodation was superb, the breakfasts (menu) were excellent. Very quiet location. The views from the property were astounding. A local pub is the only sign of social activity for miles around, again the evening meals at this hostelry were very good. We would return again to 'The Brambles' if in this part of Devon or West Somerset. The roads to and from this b & b are narrow in places. This aside guests cannot fail to enjoy this rural / countryside location.
Very helpful friendly good food. Just a short drive from the M5 motorway (Junction 27) and the train will take you to Exeter or further afield so that you can take in the scenery.
We would use Brambles again.

Incredibly friendly and thoughtful hosts could not do more to ensure I had an enjoyable stay. Bed very comfortable and very quiet location which meant an undisturbed sleep! Great breakfast (menu) - I will be back!

Excellent service, clean and tidy accommodation, absolutely no complaints at all.
Very lovely hosts, lovely light clean accommodation. Nice garden outside of window. Parking nice and easy a few steps away from room. Take the directions to find the property with you. We went to the pub up the road for a meal, traditional pub with a good choice of meals, the meals we had were very nice and very reasonable price.
This is a brilliant little b&b. Dave & Alison are very welcoming. Really comfortable stay. Our daughter didn't want to leave. Would recommend to other travellers. We have stayed before and will definitely stay again. Very near to Junction 27 M5. Near to Cullompton, Tiverton and Wellington, also Exeter, Dartmoor, Taunton and Exmoor.
Very helpful and friendly. The Ganges (Tiverton) is an excellent Indian restaurant.

Charming, very welcoming, friendly, young couple with an eye for detail & for everyone’s needs staying at a b & b. Rooms are clean, freshly decorated, with everything you need, & more. Breakfasts (menu) quick, delicious & plentiful. Beautiful countryside views, well-kept garden too. As we were only staying 2 nights, we ate at the Staple Cross Inn (Hockworthy, Wellington) only 12 minutes away through the lanes. Also recommend the Swan Inn (Bampton, Tiverton).

I found you very pleasant and accommodating. Drove slowly up the lane (narrow in places).
Just returned from Brambles our third stay a very warm welcome from David & Alison everything was perfect as usual. The owners pay much attention to detail very good breakfast (menu) easy to find good for North & South devon very pretty location very much looking forward to our next visit. Nearby Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) is a good choice for meals.

Rooms are lovely and clean, breakfast (menu) fantastic and owners very friendly. The Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) pub / restaurant is a couple of miles away but very easy to get to, all staff where extremely friendly food was lovely with plenty of choice.
This is a wow of a place; everything from the approach along the country lanes to the magnificent view to the plethora of service tray choices not forgetting the entertaining conversation from Dave and Alison - all contributing to a wonderful break. Hope to go again. Spent day at Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton); nice curry night on Tuesdays at Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) pub just down the road.

We had a lovely stay and found the staff very accommodating - even letting us make some dinner when we arrived late in the evening. The rooms have everything you need and are clean and comfy. We definitely recommend this B and B.
Dave and Alison are fantastic hosts. Their b&b is one of the friendliness places we have ever stayed. Their rooms are spotlessly clean. The drinks supplied are second to none, more different types of tea than I knew existed, the inclusion of wine glasses is a masterstroke, even cheddars for a snack. His and hers water bottles as well. Room freshened every day. Breakfast (menu) was cooked exceptional well, no grease or fat at all, providing a great way to start your day. Our thanks again to our hosts for a delightful stay. Make sure that you follow the directions that Dave emails you. This is a lot better way to get to Brambles.

The accommodation and facilities offered were excellent. I appreciated the little extras in the room indicating thought and care for the customer. It was a pleasure having Wi-Fi for which information was provided, and it worked. As has probably already been mentioned, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) up the road is convenient. I really enjoyed my meal, wine and the service. Thank you.
David and Allison are a friendly, welcoming couple. They enjoy meeting new clients and deal with any requests in a helpful and efficient manner. Quiet location, friendly local pub /restaurant - Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), 0.8 of a mile away. Thoroughly recommended.

Total perfection, beautiful accommodation with attention to detail, one of the best breakfasts (menu) we have ever had, and the 2 owners (Alison & David) are such a lovely couple, helpful and informative, a real delight to meet. The cost for staying at Brambles is extremely reasonable. We hope to return for another stay in the future. Excellent location for the whole of Devon and West Somerset with the added benefit of several larger town's being close by (Cullompton, Honiton, Tiverton and Wellington).
