- It was good to meet you. Thank you for a friendly, comfortable stay in such beautiful surroundings. We will be back. Highlight was the horse drawn barge trip!!
- Was ideal for my purposes as was doing a course in nearby village. Very impressed with clear directions. Alison and David were very welcoming and really took excellent care of all their guests. Was very impressed how the teas etc in my accommodation was replenished each day. They were both so friendly and helpful - overall an excellent stay and thoroughly recommend Brambles Bed and Breakfast. Local pub, the Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton), was only a 10-15 min walk (in good weather!!). Excellent Spar which had good wine selection in nearby village of Sampford Peverell. Beautiful area to explore and not far from Exmoor.
- Lovely people who couldn't be more welcoming. . The Amber room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast (menu) was delicious. All-in-all, a very enjoyable short stay. Go to Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton) National Trust and the Grand Western Canal Country Park (aka the Tiverton Canal). The Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) does good food but was very crowded when we went.
- We had a wonderful stay with perfect hosts, would highly recommend Brambles b&b, we will be back with our bikes next time! Great location for walking, cycling, golf and fishing.
- Friendly, clean well-appointed room. Breakfast (menu) was excellent. Didn't do any sightseeing. As we were on our way down to Cornwall but would certainly break our journey there again. Local Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) very friendly good food reasonably priced.
- The Brambles is a rural getaway among the fields and the farms yet is not remote. We were warmly welcomed, the accommodation was lovely with a comfy bed, and the tea tray was generous. They have a walk straight from the house up to a panoramic viewing point; we only stayed one night yet spotted a deer, swallows and buzzards. The breakfast (menu) was excellent. We were very satisfied with our stay. We enjoyed a canal side walk from the canal basin in Tiverton, where there was a shire horse pulling a tourist barge. Nice parking spots on the canal side too. We visited the National Trust property at Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton) as well on our mini break.
- Was a really lovely room and the breakfast (menu) was amazing! Very happy with my stay.
- Lovely, clean room & very comfortable bed & staff went over and above to look after me, the husband even gave me a lift to the station the next morning :) Highly recommend.
- Everything was perfect for us, really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended to family. Follow the excellent directions provided by the owners.
- Gave 5 for location due to the lovely rural and quiet setting - Brambles had emailed location details in advance as it is well in the countryside. Everything I needed was provided - over and above. Very comfortable accommodation and enjoyable stay; really enjoyed breakfast (menu) too. Thank you.
- I arrived very wet, having ridden through bad weather on my motorcycle. I was given use of one of their tumble dryers, and so was able to dry all my wet stuff out ready for the next day. I was also offered a lift down to the pub in the next village by the owner, all of which was helpful above and beyond what one would normally expect. Add to this a very good breakfast (menu), and a lovely hot bath (as opposed to a shower), this is a truly excellent place!. The pub in the next village, a short walk away. Has everything you need.
- Very welcoming. Lovely clean accommodation with fantastic attention to detail e.g. drinks, snacks selection, flannels etc. Catered for my 92 year old mum who loved it. Nice breakfast (menu), again with personalised touch. Thank you. Follow directions provided.
- Friendly welcome and generally attentive. Great breakfasts (menu) and very open to breakfast at the time we wanted. Very flexible. Parking well designed and thought through. Comfortable accommodation and bed (we had the room that forms part of the house rather than connected annexe). Room well provided with tea / coffee / water / biscuits and these supplies were topped up every day. Peace and quiet. Take the owners' advice about how to get to the Brambles - narrow lanes otherwise. Tiverton close by, although service stations at Morrisons and Tesco always had long queues. M&S food hall excellent. National Trust property at Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton) well worth a visit - but allow a full day. Good access to North Devon link road for Barnstaple and Exmoor.
- Delightfully comfortable accommodation. When we arrived, it was a cold and wet afternoon, but our room was warm, welcoming and cosy. The very pleasant hosts provided so many extras - wide choice of tea and coffee, biscuits, nuts and even sweets. The following day it was warm sunshine and having returned from a visit to Knightshayes Court (Bolham, Tiverton) we sat in the sunny garden with tea and a book enjoying the view. Very relaxing. Brambles cottage is opposite the old chapel. Pub a 15 min walk away has large choice of food.
- Hi I had a lovely time so friendly the owners made me so welcome fantastic views and great pubs. Would stay again it was great.
- A lovely place to stay and lovely hosts too
- Lovely location, lovely accommodation, lovely breakfast (menu), lovely people. Can't fault it and a beautiful place to stay but within very easy distance from M5 motorway. Don't miss breakfast (menu)!
- An enjoyable stay thanks to the warmth of the owners. The location is so peaceful with stunning views. Lots of places to visit and things to do nearby and plenty of pubs and restaurants in the wider area.
- What a lovely character place this is with many homely touches in a beautiful setting & Alison & David made us all so welcome.
- Very friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast (menu). The Redwoods Inn (Uplowman, Tiverton) pub is just 0.8 of a mile from the b&b is lovely.
- Close to the motorway and towns but far enough to be very quiet in the country. Beautiful views even in bad weather. Breakfast (menu) was very tasty and plentiful.
- We were just very impressed by the attention to detail and appreciated all the extra small items that you'd provided, including the wine glasses and peanuts! Not many places provide green tea bags, as you did, and had the kettle boiling as we entered our room! Thank you both!
- Alison and David are excellent hosts, friendly and accommodating, we originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 6. First class breakfast (menu). The Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) serves excellent food and staff are very friendly.
- Really lovely b&b with great sized rooms. The bedroom and bathroom were both very clean and well stocked with all the things you'd need to use. The owners were chatty and welcoming. The b&b was in the countryside, but the owners had written very clear directions for how to find their home. I would definitely recommend it to friends and would use it again when I'm in the area for work. We ate in the Globe Inn (Sampford Peverell, Tiverton) pub, and they were brilliant for gluten free food options, including gluten free fish and chips in a separate fat fryer.
- Really friendly and welcoming reception. Lovely breakfast (menu) - a really nice place to stay.
